The Hunar Foundation (THF)

is a non-profit organisation that took root with the objective
of finding a solution to the problems of livelihood for the
youth through quality vocational training of international
standards. We offer one year courses in various trades followed
by internships in industry or commercial organisations.
Apart from professional training, we aim to create better human beings by teaching work ethics, social and moral values. We are specifically focused on these critical aspects of social conduct so as to produce a high quality, skilled workforce of integrity, and who are readily employable locally and abroad.
THE was registered on the 21st of February 2008 under the Societies Act XXI of 1860, bearing registration No. KAR0104 of 2007-2008. Income tax exemption has been obtained and our NTN is: 3072746-4.
THF's First Fundraising Event Held in Lahore
The Hunar Foundation`s (THF) first fund raising was held at Sukh Chayn Gardens, in Lahore. The main feature of the event was a performance by the renowned Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, and was well attended by more than 600 guests. Speaking at the occasion, THF Chairman, Aslam Khaliq briefed the gathering about the aims and objectives of Hunar Foundation and asked the invited to participate in this opportunity of turning this major challenge into an advantage for Pakistan. The fundraiser was generously supported by many of the top corporations of Pakistan and private supporters of THF.

Hajiani Ashraf Khatoon Technical Institute is now operational and offering classes in Electrical Installation and Mechanical Fitting & Plant Maintenance.
THF Instructors Return from Training in Australia
Instructors are crucial to the success of our training programmes. THF continually invests to enhance the training capabilities of its instructors to ensure that they are well qualified and up to date with training techniques. In November 2011, a group of four instructors from THF were sent to Australia to complete a 'Master Trainer Programme' with support from AusAID.
